Warranty and Other Important Information

BluWave Hybrid, LLC Limited Warranty

BluWave Hybrid, LLC warrants that all BluWave Hybrid Converter Kits shall be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for one (1) Year from the date of purchase or an aggregate of 15,000 miles on the installed vehicle(s), whichever comes first. If the Converter Kit becomes defective during the warranty period, BluWave Hybrid, LLC will replace the Converter Kit or repair it with new or reconditioned components (as determined in BluWave Hybrid, LLC ‘s sole discretion), without charge to you (except for the cost of shipping to and from BluWave Hybrid, LLC). All parts and products returned to BluWave Hybrid, LLC, will become the property of BluWave Hybrid, LLC.

BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s obligations under this warranty are subject to the following requirements and exclusions:

  • (1) You must be the original purchaser of the Converter Kits, and must complete the warranty registration form and return the defective product to BluWave Hybrid, LLC, and the returned Converter Kit must be post marked prior to the warranty expiration date. Failure to do so voids all warranties, either expressed or implied, as set forth herein;
  • (2) You, the original purchaser, must reside in the United States, or where BluWave Hybrid, LLC have an International Authorized Distributor(s) and you must have used the product as described in the warranty registration, or as described in the Converter Kit Owner’s Manual;
  • (3) The product must not have been altered, disassembled, modified, or converted for any use other than as intended and described in the warranty registration, or as described in the Converter Kit Owner’s Manual;
  • (4) The product, and part of it, must be used in accordance with the warranty registration, or as described in the Converter Kit Owner’s Manual;
  • (5) The product or any part thereof must not be damaged or rendered unserviceable due to negligence, vandalism, theft, fire, debris, flood, Act of God, or other peril, including the malfunction of the equipment the Converter Kit is attached to, or by any cause within your control; and
  • (6) BluWave Hybrid, LLC must have received written notice of the claimed defect prior to the expiration of your warranty period.

The extent of BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s liability under this warranty, shall be limited to the prompt repair, or replacement of any defective part of the Converter Kit, as determined in BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s sole discretion, to be necessary. There is no cost to you other than the cost of shipment to and from BluWave Hybrid, LLC.

THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES BLUWAVE HYBRID, LLC’S SOLE WARRANTY (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED) FOR THE CONVERTER KIT, AND ITS PARTS. NO OTHER WARRANTIES APPLY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT (AS DETERMINED IN BLUWAVE HYBRID, LLC’S SOLE DISCRETION) OF THE NONCOMFORMING UNIT OR PARTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL BLUWAVE HYBRID, LLC, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE NONCOMFROMING UNIT, AS DETERMINED BY BLUWAVE HYBRID, LLC. IN NO EVENT SHALL, BLUWAVE HYBRID, LLC, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF THE CONVERTER KIT OR ITS PARTS.

The duration of this warranty is limited to the duration of this express warranty. Regardless of the form of the claim, or action, BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s liability for any damages to you, the original purchaser, for the use, installation or removal of the Converter Kit, or its parts, is limited to the warranty as written herein. This expressed warranty extends to all liabilities or obligations of BluWave Hybrid, LLC, for any and all damages, arising out of or in connection with delivery, use, installation, removal or performance of the Converter Kit or its parts.

This warranty cannot be amended or changed by any of BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s representatives, employees, or agents and any promises inconsistent with this warranty are void and unenforceable against BluWave Hybrid, LLC. Some states do not allow limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Your sole remedy for the above warranties is the repair or replacement of the defective product only, as determined to be necessary in BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s sole discretion.

BluWave Hybrid, LLC 30-Day - Money Back Guarantee - Return Policy

There is virtually no risk to try any of BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s products. When you purchase a product from BluWave Hybrid, LLC, you have 30 days from the date you receive it (based on shipping verification date) to use and evaluate it. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, then simply return it to BluWave Hybrid, LLC.

BEFORE YOU RETURN PRODUCT(S), make sure to call BluWave Hybrid, LLC at 1-513-858-2551 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which you must display on the outside of the box to receive a refund. Inside the box, please include either a copy of the original Sales Receipt, Invoice, or a sheet of paper with your name, address, phone number, along with a reason for return, and RMA number. For BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s protection, BluWave Hybrid, LLC respectfully reserves the right to refuse, and return to sender, any packages that do not display the RMA number. The returned item(s) must be postmarked on, or before the final day of your 30-day risk-free guarantee period, and must have the RMA number clearly written on the outside of the original box.

Please return the product with all the original packaging, the warranty card, and owner's manual (if applicable). If you are returning a BluWave Hybrid Converter Kit, it must be in saleable condition, undamaged and returned in the original box. Please be advised that packages sent by normal US Postal Service cannot be tracked to ensure delivery. Therefore, postal insurance and delivery confirmation service is recommended, since BluWave Hybrid LLC cannot provide credit, or a refund, without confirming its receipt. BluWave Hybrid, LLC is not responsible for loss, or damage of returned items. Please return Converter Kits only to the return address BluWave Hybrid, LLC provides you, NOT to the address listed on the original box.

Ship all returns to: 173 Donald Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014. Once BluWave Hybrid, LLC receives your returned product(s), BluWave Hybrid, LLC will issue a refund check. BluWave Hybrid, LLC cannot issue refunds on returned merchandise, if the conditions of BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s Return Policy are not fully met. BluWave Hybrid, LLC may assess a 15% or more restocking fee for all returned orders that do not comply with BluWave Hybrid, LLC’s Return Policy.

NOTE: The BluWave Hybrid, LLC 30-Day money back guarantee covers only the product purchase price and does not include the cost of installation, Converter Kit disassembly or return shipping costs.
